I'll be doing commissions at Phoenix Comicon in a few weeks and I need to get some practice in. This is my typical marker bust sketch done with Pitt Brush Pens & Prismacolor markers.

The Cobra logo and Baroness are ™ & © by Hasbro.

How are the PITT markers? I've been using Staedtler's brushpens myself to practice with.

They work great, depending on the size of my art. Too big and they dont look so hot, too small and they are too thick. I'm still trying to find the happy medium. ;)

Another problem I have is that they dont stick very well to the blue-pencils I use. So it has me just using regular pencils for my rough work, kind of a pain... but I wont give up on them, not yet. :D

Huh. The Staedtlers i use seem to work fine with the blue lead I use for pencilling, but I use a lead holder and the blue lead for that is less waxy then the regular pencils. I should keep a look out though.

Also, there's Japantown in my area and I need to get there because I hear the Japanese pen-brushes are so much better.

Yeah, mine are pretty waxy. If you get those Japanese pens, let me know how you like them.
